Do you have a logo I can put on my website or up in my store?
There is a CASAA-approved "We Support CASAA" vendor logo that may be found on the right-hand side of this page: Downloadable Graphics
This logo may be uploaded to your website or printed out and posted in your store. CASAA expects to have printed stickers and decals of this logo available in the CASAA store soon.
How do I link to the CASAA website from my website?
You may link to CASAA either using a text link or by uploading and linking our approved "We Support CASAA" logo. Instructions on how to link are found on the right-hand side of the Downloadable Graphics page.
How do I go about having a raffle or fundraiser for CASAA?
As you may know, CASAA maintains a fairly low profile on fundraising. Part of that is because the laws regarding fundraising vary so much from place to place, and we simply don’t have the ability to become intimately familiar with the laws of all 50 states, let alone local rules and ordinances. Plus, fundraising takes a great deal of time and effort, and, to be honest, we have enough on our plate just trying to keep up with the work we need to do.
That’s why we’re always so grateful when people step up individually to help raise awareness and funds for CASAA. Regarding fundraisers:
-
We don’t formally “approve” or “endorse” fundraisers, but gratefully receive whatever proceeds are donated to us. The reason why we don’t approve or endorse is because then we’d find ourselves having to research the applicable state/local law, and then monitor the fundraiser to make sure that it is done in a manner that complies with those laws and that monies collected are properly accounted for.
-
People are welcome to say that the fundraiser is to benefit CASAA, but they can’t imply that the fundraiser has been approved or endorsed by CASAA.
-
In the case of vendors, they are allowed to, for example, say that they are donating to CASAA a percentage of sales, either general sales for a time period or for specific products. However, when done in connection with products, the product itself cannot bear the name of CASAA or in any way suggest that the product is approved or endorsed by CASAA. So, for example, “ABC Vendor will donate 10% of the price of all bottles of ABC Coconut Colada to CASAA,” would be fine. “ABC Vendor will donate 10% of the price of all bottles of CASAA Campaign Coconut E-Liquid” would not.
-
We do not permit the sale of any product bearing the CASAA name or logo, including “swag,” without written approval from CASAA.
-
Vendors are free to state that they support CASAA, but they are not permitted to say (or even imply) that CASAA supports the vendor, any products, or, as discussed previously, the fundraiser itself. CASAA is a consumer organization, and we have a very strict policy of not endorsing any particular vendor or product.
-
When contributions are made, the donor receives a receipt. If the donation is made on our website, a receipt is provided to the donor by PayPal. If a check is sent to CASAA, the canceled check should be used as proof the contribution was made and received. If a Board member receives cash (for example, at a local event where a Board member is present), a receipt is given to the donor on the spot noting the amount received and the Board member who received it.
- If you would like to attend a member meeting to share information with fellow CASAA members about what you’re doing, you are more than welcome to do so. You may also post about your efforts online (with the exception of CASAA's Facebook page or the We Are CASAA group.) We simply ask that you make it clear that your fundriser/raffle is to benefit CASAA but it is not being sponsored by CASAA.
Thank you so much for helping in this very significant way. It’s because of people like you that CASAA is able to focus on the work at hand instead of constantly trying to raise money. But just as importantly, we appreciate the community’s support and the efforts of CASAA members to raise awareness of CASAA and the work that we do.
How do I get my donation to CASAA?

Can CASAA help me with a non-legislative, industry-related problem or question?
CASAA is a consumer organization, not an industry association, and, as such, is not in a position to offer business advice. We recommend that you seek advice from an attorney or a trade association for questions and concerns regarding licensing, zoning, insurance, testing, etc.
Is there anything else I can do to help inform my customers about CASAA?
